Polynucleotides Decoded: Why They're Their Own Treatment Category

Polynucleotides are having a real moment right now, and I get it, there are so many options out there it can be hard to know what's what. At Novauria Aesthetics, I want to keep things simple.

Polynucleotides vs Skin Boosters

First, a quick distinction: polynucleotides are their own treatment category, separate from my skin boosters (Profhilo and Seventy Hyal), which work through hyaluronic acid to hydrate and remodel the skin. Polynucleotides work differently, supporting your skin's own repair and regeneration processes at a cellular level. Many clients combine the two approaches as part of a wider skin plan, but they're not interchangeable.

The Three Polynucleotide Treatments I Offer

Within polynucleotides, I offer three: Plinest, Vitaran, and Plenhyage Strong, and each one has its own strengths depending on what your skin needs.

Plinest is one of the most established polynucleotide treatments, and it's often my starting point for clients focused on overall skin quality: hydration, elasticity, and that healthy, refreshed look. It works by supporting the skin's own regenerative processes, making it a great option for anyone who wants a natural, cumulative improvement rather than a dramatic overnight change.

Best suited for: clients new to polynucleotide treatments, general skin rejuvenation, and those wanting to improve overall skin health and resilience.

Vitaran is a treatment I reach for when a client's main concern is hydration and radiance, particularly for skin that's looking dull, tired, or dehydrated. It's a lovely option for clients who want that noticeable, glowing finish and are looking for a refresh rather than a full skin remodelling treatment.

Best suited for: clients wanting a hydration and glow boost, often ahead of an event or as a seasonal refresh.

Plenhyage Strong is the treatment I turn to for more targeted concerns, think deeper lines, reduced firmness, or skin that needs a bit more support to bounce back. As the name suggests, it's a stronger formulation, making it well suited to clients looking for more noticeable improvements in skin structure and firmness over a course of treatments.

Best suited for: clients with more visible signs of ageing, reduced skin firmness, or those wanting a more intensive treatment plan.

So, Which One Is Right for You?

Honestly, it depends entirely on your skin and your goals, and that's exactly why every treatment starts with a proper consultation. I take the time to understand your skin history, your concerns, and what you're hoping to achieve, whether that's general maintenance, a hydration reset, or a more intensive rejuvenation plan.

Sometimes the answer isn't just one product, some clients benefit from a tailored combination, or a plan that pairs polynucleotides with a skin booster like Profhilo or Seventy Hyal for a more complete result.

If you're not sure which treatment is right for you, that's completely normal, and it's exactly what I'm here to help you figure out.
