Once I'd decided to train in chemical peels, the next question was which brand to train in — and that mattered to me as much as the decision to offer peels at all. I settled on Clinicare, and I wanted to explain why, because it says a lot about how I choose everything on the Novauria menu.
Why Clinicare, specifically
Clinicare is a professional peel range built for exactly the kind of targeted, results-led work I wanted to be able to offer — peels formulated around real skin concerns rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. What I liked most in training was how much room there is to tailor: different acids and strengths for different skin types, so the peel is actually chosen for what's in front of me rather than reached for as a default. That matches how I already work with skin boosters and microneedling — the tool changes depending on your skin, not the other way round.
What I'm using it for right now
Right now, I'm focusing my Clinicare peels on two of the concerns I get asked about most: pigmentation and blemish-prone skin. Both respond well to controlled exfoliation and the improved cell turnover a peel encourages, but they're not treated identically — the approach for a pigmentation concern is different from the approach for active breakouts, and part of what training gave me was the judgement to tell the two apart properly rather than guessing.
Pigmentation: sun damage, post-inflammatory marks, and general unevenness in tone
Blemishes: congestion, breakouts, and the texture and marks they leave behind
I'll be writing about each of those in more detail separately, because they deserve proper answers rather than a quick paragraph each.
